June

Winter is coming.  Frosty mornings (not too frosty, hopefully), early fog and Butcher Birds are what I think of when reminiscing about winter.  Working after a frosty morning, deep blue sky and the raucous noise of the honeyeaters mining the flowers of their nectar

Banksias
The last Banksias are being picked, seeds are forming on the left over stems.
Mallees
The mallees come out for the cool weather colourful journey.  They range from vibrant red through orange  to yellow - all full with nectar each morning!
